The floor-space tradeoff
A Full is roughly 53–54 × 75 in; a Queen is 60 × 80 in. Add the actual frame overhang and the clear walking space you want on every accessible side before deciding.
Sheets and foundations do not cross-fit
A Queen fitted sheet, foundation, or frame is too wide and long for a Full. Some top bedding is sold as Full/Queen, but its finished dimensions and resulting drop should still be checked.
