Blanket sizes: measurement chart and formulas
Blanket dimensions are finished-product measurements. Pick width from mattress width plus two side drops, and length from mattress length plus the coverage you want.

Manufacturer variation matters.

Measurement method
Start with the product and space you actually have.

Measure the mattress. Record width, length, and full depth without relying on the label.

Choose coverage. Decide the side drop, foot drop, top alignment, and any tuck.
