Twin bed skirt size: deck dimensions and drop examples
Current Twin bed-skirt examples use a 39-inch deck width, 75- or 76-inch deck length, and 15- or 16-inch drop. These are finished product measurements, not universal Twin standards.

Twin XL is about five inches longer than Twin. Do not assume a Twin deck reaches the same corners or edges on a Twin XL setup.
The deck can exceed the nominal mattress top
Both current examples list 39 inches of width against a nominal 38-inch Twin mattress. The extra finished fabric is product-specific.
Twin and Twin XL lengths are different
A Twin XL support surface is nominally 80 inches long, beyond both Twin deck examples. Compare the written deck length before treating the labels as interchangeable.
Measurement method
Start with the product and space you actually have.
